About Filtrexx® Technology
Filtrexx International, LLC has developed a patented mesh containment system, used to contain organic media for a variety of sediment control, land improvement, and agricultural applications. Filtrexx® SiltSoxx™ improve water quality by trapping sediment and soluble pollutants as storm water passes through the organic structure, and by allowing water to temporarily pond behind the device, allowing deposition of suspended solids.

Unlike fence or inferior sock, Filtrexx® mesh is open enough to allow water through while keeping silt and clay inside the Soxx™. Only Filtrexx has the independent test data to prove its performance.

Two-thirds of SiltSoxx™ silt stopping capacity is IN the Soxx™. As storm water passes through the SiltSoxx™ sediment chemically binds to the composted FilterMedia™. Only Filtrexx® FilterMedia™ has been extensively researched and developed to provide optimum filtration of sediment (TS, TSS, and Turbidity), hydrocarbons (oil, diesel fuel, gasoline) nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus), bacteria (total coliform, fecal coliform, E. coli.), and heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, Zn) and is certified to meet the necessary flow-through rates specified by both the EPA and most state regulators.
