Available Products
Filtrexx® SiltSoxx™ are available in a variety of diameters and lengths to meet your project needs. Whether you need a system for storm water filtration or sediment control, runoff diversion and flood control, or green retaining walls, landscape applications, or even agricultural cropping systems, we have the optimum mesh containment system that harnesses nature to ensure your project is sustainable, successful, and profitable.
SiltSoxx™ for Sediment Control
Filtrexx® Sediment Control is a three-dimensional tubular sediment control and storm water filtration device typically used as a silt fence replacement (perimeter control device) for sediment and soluble pollutants (such as phosphorus and petroleum hydrocarbons), on and around construction activities. Filtrexx® Sediment Control traps sediment and soluble pollutants by filtering runoff water as it passes through the organic structure, and by allowing water to temporarily pond behind the device, allowing deposition of suspended solids. Sediment control is also used to reduce runoff flow velocities on sloped surfaces.
- 50% more design capacity and flow through than silt fence
- NO trenching, NO soil disturbance
- Easy removal and little disposal costs
- 8x less maintenance than silt fence (USEPA)
- USDA Certified Biobased product, recycled, locally sourced, carbon neutral
- Can be installed by trained, certified professionals
InletSoxx™ Inlet Protection
Filtrexx® Inlet Protection is a three-dimensional tubular sediment control and storm water filtration device designed for storm drain and curb inlet protection. Sediment and soluble pollutants (such as phosphorus and petroleum hydrocarbons) are filtered from runoff water as it passes through the organic structure, and by allowing water to temporarily pond behind the Inlet Protection device, allowing deposition of suspended solids.
- Emergency overflow prevents flooding
- Easy to maintain, replace, and repair
- No need to remove storm grate to install
- Flocculants available for targeted pollutants
- Available on pallets
- Heavy duty Soxx™ available for high traffic areas
- USDA Certified Biobased product, recycled, locally sourced, carbon neutral
DitchChexx™ Check Dams
Filtrexx® Check Dams are a three-dimensional tubular Check Dam device used in storm water ditches, channels, and swales, on or near land disturbing activities. Filtrexx® Check Dams are designed to slow concentrated storm water flow velocity, reduce bed erosion, and filter sediment and soluble pollutants (nutrients, bacteria, metals, hydrocarbons) present in storm water runoff.
- Lower cost and maintenance compared to Rock Checks and Silt Fence
- Customizable diameters: 8, 12, 18, 24, 32 inches
- Can be vegetated for permanent applications
- Easy removal and disposal
- USDA Certified Biobased product, recycled, locally sourced, carbon neutral
GroSoxx®
Vegetated retaining walls are a green alternative to block and concrete retaining walls. Offering higher aesthetic appeal and a natural look, Filtrexx® LivingWalls™ are a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) system that is reinforced with vegetation and geogrid support. These systems are ideal for residential properties and public lands and can restore native habitat in developed areas. In the past, challenges in establishing vegetation have led to minimal use of greenwall systems. Filtrexx® LivingWalls™ rely on GrowingMedia™ to provide a fertile growing medium that encourages vegetation and successfully assists in anchoring roots to the wall and the site substrate. Further, the vegetated fascia drastically reduces or eliminates the build up of hydrostatic pressure behind the wall face, where failures often happen in hard wall systems.
SiltSoxx™ with Treatment Train for Targeted Pollutant Removal
Palletized SiltSoxx™ have been approved by the USEPA as an alternative for silt fence. Filtrexx® SiltSoxx™ can be modified to include one of our all natural Treatment Train additives, designed to remove targeted pollutants.
- SiltSoxx™ with NitroLoxx® to remove both particulate and soluble Phosphorus and Nitrogen
- SiltSoxx™ with MetalLoxx® to remove both particulate and soluble heavy metals
- SiltSoxx™ with PetroLoxx® to remove hydrocarbons such as diesel, motor oil, and gasoline
- SiltSoxx™ with BactoLoxx® to remove harmful bacteria such as E. coli and other coliform.
